Workshops and talks for scientists

Please explore our interactive workshops and talks: for scientists, by scientists.

Almost all topics can be offered in English, German, and Dutch.

Please look at our Online Academy for free previews of our courses.

For more in-depth one-on-one interactions, we also offer private coaching

We also moderate events like conferences and panel discussions.

LinkedIn for scientists

LinkedIn is one of the largest professional media platforms in the world. And, arguably, it is the biggest job portal for careers in- and outside of academia.

Hire only the best debias your workplace

Hire only the best: de-bias your workplace

When selecting staff, we want to hire only the best, but we´re hampered by our own biases in this process. How can we de-bias our workplace?

Hiring staff is one of the most crucial processes in scientists´ careers, yet we´re often remarkably ‘un-scientific’ when it comes to conducting them.

Online or in-house? The right format for every type of learner

We often get questions like: “Shall I conduct this training as in-house training or online course?” or “Why should I book your online academy for this seminar, there are many free MOOCs online?” There is no clear answer, so let´s look at the merits of each course format.

Online courses and blended-learning activities for scientists.

We started developing online workshops in early 2019, fully one year before Corona hit Europe. We love the flexibility that these formats give to the coordinators and participants: we typically have one webinar (2-2.5 h) per day, each followed by self-paced work on our learning platform. After the webinar phase, the participants have three weeks to dive deeper into the course material of the class and receive individual feedback from the course instructors.

Private coaching

We can help you with:

Career transitions, e.g., from the PhD or postdoc into a non-academic job field: how do you find employers that fit your needs, how do you successfully convince the employer in your application documents and the job interview?

Grant applications. How do you present yourself and your science in front of an expert panel?

Moderations for your event

Do you need a light-hearted moderator for a conference, meeting, or social evening event?

Or are you looking for a moderator for a contentious discussion or a brainstorming session?

Please get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
