Description
LinkedIn is one of the largest professional media platforms in the world. And, arguably, it is the biggest job portal for careers in- and outside of academia. Many scientists actively use it for networking, exchanging ideas and their job search. But not everyone has a LinkedIn profile or uses it effectively.
Do you have a LinkedIn profile but do not have the feeling it benefits your career much? Or do you not have a profile at all but would like to get one? Then this talk is for you.
In this talk, we’ll look at some best practice websites as well as tips and pitfalls.
What will I learn from this talk?
- What can LinkedIn do for me?
- How to create a profile with impact?
- Tips and pitfalls
- Good practice examples
This workshop can be booked together with short (online) feedback sessions on personal LinkedIn profiles.
